In an effort to better serve you, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater New Orleans has partnered with Money Management International, Inc (MMI) and its family of CCCS agencies. As a result of our efforts, your account will be serviced by MMI’s Denver, Colorado support counseling center beginning January 1, 2009.

MMI and its family of CCCS agencies make up the largest nonprofit, full-service credit counseling agency in the United States. Since 1958, they have been helping consumers find the tools and solutions they need to achieve financial freedom. They provide professional financial guidance, credit counseling, community-wide educational programs, debt management assistance, bankruptcy counseling and education services, and housing counseling assistance to consumers via phone, Internet and in-person sessions. In addition, MMI is a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC), Association for Independent Consumer Credit Counseling Agencies (AICCCA), the American Association of Debt Management Organizations (AADMO), and is accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA).
MMI will provide you with additional benefits such as daily disbursements to your creditors and access to your account 24/7 by telephone and Internet.
Important Information About Your Account
Our goal is to keep you well informed throughout this transition process. You will receive additional information about your account and the transition to MMI in the next two weeks; but here is a brief outline of the changes you can expect as we move forward:

- MMI support counselors will not have access to your account information until January 1, 2009. Until that time, please continue to contact CCCS New Orleans for any questions regarding your account.
- After January 1, 2009, you will be able to access your account 24/7 by telephone, 1-800-479-7117, or by the Internet, www.MyCCCSAccount.com.
- If you are currently using “automatic debit” to make your payments, it is necessary that you complete the enclosed withdrawal form. The last withdrawal date by CCCS New Orleans will be December 22, 2008 In order to continue your automatic payments uninterrupted, it is necessary that MMI receives your new automatic payment form as soon as possible. You may fax or mail the form to the number or address noted above.
